BEADWORK

· For me beadwork is a pleasant pass time and a way to share our history and culture with my family.  It gives me an opportunity to tell stories as I spoil them the best I can.  So far, they don't mind at all.  Here are some of the gifts that I've created this year.

This is a standard bracelet, only different

by colors, that I did for fun.

I started this barrette about ten years

ago and finished it for daughter#2

I made this especially for daughter#5

She needed something green and

has a fondness for flutterbys

I recreated this bracelet for daughter#1

The one I made her when she was 10

got misplaced.  She always wanted it back

I made this bolo tie for a friend

He doesn't like ties, but wears this.

I made this for my biological mom.

She likes black and white and eagles.

It was for her 77th birthday.

I made this barrette for daughter#4.

I used porcupine quills for the petals.

.

I made this barrette for my step daughter.

(As in I'd step in and be her mom sometimes)

She is truly part of our family.

I have more family to make things for.  So, it will take awhile before I rake in the almighty big bucks.
